Vote for New York: She’s Kira-sistable!

Just a few months ago, Kira Kazantsev was crowned Miss New York, and began her journey to Miss America. She has already made appearances across the state, traveled to Florida and Connecticut, and has been working incredibly hard to promote her platform Love Shouldn’t Hurt: Protecting Women Against Dating Violence.

So now is the most important part, prior arriving in Atlantic City at least. Kira will be representing New York next month at the National Pageant, and by voting for her every day we can guarantee her a spot in the Top 15, and a performance on Finals Night.

So Click Here to Vote for Kira, and support Miss New York, Kira Kazansev, and help secure her place in the Top 15. I think we can all agree, she is #Kira-sistable.

Although Kira is a native Californian, and first generation American with Russian roots, Kira is a New Yorker at heart with strong communication skills, a charisma like no other, and a passion for her platform that Miss America should have. She has won the Lifestyle & Fitness preliminary award, as well as held titles in other systems. She is an amazing woman, and we are extremely proud to have her representing the Empire State at Miss America.

Four years ago, Claire Buffie, Miss New York 2010, won the honor of becoming People’s Choice. Three years  ago, Kaitlin Monte, was second runner up in the competition and won a preliminary award. Then two years in a row, Mallory Hagan and Nina Davuluri took home the Miss America crown.  New York has big expectations for our titleholder!
