Next weekend is the second annual Miss Syracuse Triple Crown pageant, and 15 beautiful ladies will be competing for one of three crowns, and the chance to continue on and compete at Miss New York 2015.
Each of the titles have a different regional eligibility, and come with a different set of responsibilities. Perhaps the most exciting part, a third of the contestants are first time competitors, and even less have held titles within the Miss America Organization. But this isn’t alarming, since the 2014 titleholders were a mix of a first time contestant, first time titleholder, and repeat titleholder, and all three did fabulous at the state competition. It goes without saying that whoever is crowned will go on to make the greater Syracuse region proud.
