Miss Syracuse/Salt City/Erie Canal

Miss Syracuse is one of the oldest titles offered in New York State, with representatives competing in Atlantic City from the very beginning. The Miss Syracuse Organization was founded shortly after Nina Davuluri, Miss Syracuse, took her sweeper appointed title and won both the Miss New York and Miss America Crowns. The Organization was able to expand to both revive the Miss Salt City title, which had only been used twice in the past, and form the Miss Erie Canal title.

Unfortunately after three successful years, the Miss Syracuse Organization’s local franchise agreement and the local dissolved. Hopefully a new team will be found to replace the board and revive these titles.
