Former Miss Central New York

Each year one girl will walk away with a local crown, compete at Miss New York (possibly win!), and at the end of her year- she will pass the crown on to the next girl. But these amazing, smart, beautiful, and talented women should not be forgotten. They are an important part of the Miss New York legacy.

In 1998, the Miss Central New York title was awarded with Miss Syracuse. The director, Marie Adornato, was crowned Miss Baldwinsville 1997 at the dual crown the year before, but changed the Baldwinsville title to Central New York. A decade later, in 2007, the Miss Central New York title was given at a dual competition with Miss Upstate New York. The Miss Central Region pageant was held for two years. Then, in 2014, a new Miss Central New York Organization was formed and was dissolve two years later, but the title was quickly picked back up.
